Our team at Talent4gig are dedicated to uphold necessary security measures and safeguards in order to ensure the safe usage of our website. Additionally we utilize other techniques and safeguards to ensure  against manipulation,loss,destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties of a user’s personal data. 4. Processing of data subject’s personal data and reasoning 

a) When visiting our website 

When visiting our website, it is not needed to disclose any personal information to us. Yet what must be noted is that due to the nature of technological aspects, your machine shall transfer certain technical to our website, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, that may be stored in our log management systems. The purpose of IP collection and retention is for technical and administrative purposes in order to guarantee security safeguards and the upkeeping of the website. In doing so we do not obtain any information that may identify you directly. We may use your review as a user of any type on our website, this may include but is not limited to –

b) When further complementing your profile on Talent4gig as a developer and receiving matches for work possibilities 


When you have provided the information needed for signing up to our service, we shall additionally inquire personal information about You in the profile creation section, this information is necessary for being able to provide our service of connecting you with possible employers. All the information inquired is necessary yet not mandatory except for what is indicated as so by the symbol *.

The information provided is collected and processed by us as a data controller on the basis of point (b) of Article 6(1) GDPR;  to aid you in the ability to obtain a position and/or enter into communication with a contractor. Please note that the storage of this data can be revoked at any time you see fit by contacting our respective data protection contact via . The information provided is requested for the above-mentioned purpose. 

An important feature of our service is the concept of automated matching of you as a developer with a possible employer. We as a data controller are aware of the specifics and standards of automated decision making established by the GDPR specifically Article 22 of the regulation. We seek to respect and uphold the standard required in utilizing automated decision making as a means of data processing towards you as a data subject. We have implemented all required safeguards to ensure the correct usage of such decision making; in our case matching you as an individual with potential employer and do so on the basis (in addition to Article 6(1) GDPR) of point (b) of Article 22(1) GDPR. The automated matching is solely utilized to allow a more swift and higher potential of matching you with an employer. If you have any concerns relating to this feature of our service please contact our respective data protection contact.


c) Transfer of developer personal data to third parties


We forward your personal data to third parties solely if:

  • You have given your express consent pursuant to point (a) of Article 6(1) GDPR,
  • It is necessary for the performance of a contract with you pursuant to point (b) of Article 6(1) GDPR,
  • A statutory obligation exists for transferring pursuant to point (c) of Article 6(1) GDPR.


d) Collection of data as an employer on Talent4gig

An employer or employer organization that registers to use our services has specific rights granted to himself/herself/itself related to personal data.
